Todd Saieed
President / Chief Executive Officer / Founding
Partner
Todd Saieed is a seasoned executive
with over 20 years of experience in the Construction
and Real Estate Industry. As CEO of DeWitt Real Estate
Services, Todd leads a staff of talented professionals
who are experts in the management and development of
master-planned communities and commercial properties.
Experience: Todd
Saieed began his career in the construction industry
with his family company where
he learned the business from the ground up. Under Todd's direction and leadership, he was responsible for the completion of over 400 buildings, exceeding over $300,000,000 in value over the past 25 years. His experienced construction team became a leader in the industry under his guidance. During this time, Todd gained experience with a variety of structures. He became experienced in many aspects of construction budgeting, scheduling, value engineering and construction law.
After twenty-four years in the construction
industry, Todd formed a vision for a development company and founded DeWitt
Development Company in 1992. DeWitt Development began
with small build to suit projects and has expanded into
the company that is now DeWitt Real Estate Services.
DeWitt Real Estate Services is responsible
for the development and sales of Commercial Properties,
Retail Stores, Medical Offices, Active Adult Communities, Upscale Residential Properties and Marina Development.
Todd’s areas of expertise

companies.

Education: B.S. in
Engineering, University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Todd is Past President of the
General Contractors Association. He is currently serving
as the Program Director for the North Wake Basketball
Association.
Todd is a Raleigh native. He and
is his wife, Kathy have three active sons, Tommy, Connor
and Christian. Todd enjoys time with his family. He
loves boating and fishing with his family and friends.
Ven Poole
Chairman of the Board / Founding
Partner
Ven Poole is a seasoned management
executive with over 20 years experience in the business
world. As Chairman, Ven is instrumental in developing and
implementing strategic planning for DeWitt Real Estate
Services and it’s affiliated companies.
Experience: Ven began
his career as a Systems Engineer with Martin Marietta
Missile Systems – Orlando Aerospace Division where
he progressed to Senior Systems Engineer level before
returning to North Carolina, to raise his family.
In 1990, he rejoined his family’s
business, Waste Industries USA, Inc (NASD:WWIN) serving as the company's Risk Manager. He has also served as the company's Human Resources Manager and led all support services as VP, Support Services. Ven Currently serves as the company's Vice President of Corporate Development. In this role he is the lead Executive for all mergers and acquisitions, facility construction
and landfill development projects. He has closed over
$100,000,000 in acquisitions in the last five years.
Ven also manages a number of businesses for the Poole
family, including a family
Investment Trust and a number of real estate development
projects.

Education: B.S. in
Aerospace Engineering, North Carolina State University
Ven also serves on the Board of Trustees
for St. David’s School and on the Board of the Detachable Container Association and serves as the Treasurer for both organization.
Ven and his wife Lisa have three lovely daughters,
Chelsea, Craven and Caroline. He is an avid Blue Marlin
fisherman and a licensed airplane pilot.
Michael Kemp Director of Leasing& Sales
Michael Kemp joined DeWitt Real Estate Services in 2002 as Director of Leasing and Sales. As such, he is responsible for all brokerage activity, marketing of developments and contractual agreements to buy, sell or lease property. He has completed transactions exceeding $240,000,000 in his twenty-year career.
Michael has represented Oracle, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Beazer Homes, Ranstad U.S., Chase Manhattan, Delta Education and Waste Industries U.S.A., Inc. as well as other groups throughout the Carolinas.
He has worked throughout the state of North Carolina, in Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, Asheville as well as Columbia, South Carolina.
His areas of expertise include:
• Commercial sales & leasing
• Tenant representation (retail, office & industrial leasing)
• Investment sales, including Multi-family, Office & Industrial
• Land sales, purchases & development
Education: B.S. Real Estate and Finance, Appalachian State University
Michael is a member of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, Charlotte Commercial Board of Realtors, Charlotte Regional Realtors Association, Wilmington Commercial Board of Realtors, National Home Builders Association and the National Association of Realtors.
Michael is a Raleigh native and he and his wife Donna have a beautiful daughter, Karlie.
